WHO ARE LIBERTY SUPERCARS?
Liberty Supercars has been established as a Members Car Club, for the discerning enthusiast driver. Based near Whitchurch, Shropshire the Car Club will predominantly serve Members within the Counties of Cheshire, Shropshire and Staffordshire. Liberty Supercars has been established to offer a completely transparent, competitive and flexible service to its Members. Having extensive industry partners, Liberty Supercars will operate a professional and reliable Car Club for its Members in a robust business framework, so the Car Club can continue to consolidate its Membership base and long term future after launch. Liberty Supercars Membership will be limited to 100 Members and as we aim to maintain a 1:8 Supercar to Member Ratio, you will always have access to an extensive selection of genuine thoroughbred Supercars when you arrange a booking.
HOW MUCH ARE THE FEES TO BECOME A LIBERTY SUPERCARS MEMBER?
The Liberty Supercars Membership fee is £6,000.00 + VAT per Member per year. The 12 months Membership will only commence from the date of your first booking. Prior to your first booking date we will also arrange your Performance Driving Day, which is a one-off £500.00 + VAT booking fee. Liberty Supercars does not operate a 'points' based system but each Member is allocated 28 Driving Days, which includes a complimentary 100 miles per Driving Day and then additional mileage is available at £2.00 + VAT per mile. The 28 Driving Days can be used at the full discretion of each Member and in any of the Club Cars available at the time of your booking. Bookings can be arranged from a minimum of 1 Driving Day, to a maximum of 7 consecutive Driving Days per booking per Club Car.
WHEN WILL LIBERTY SUPERCARS BE AVAILABLE FOR BOOKINGS?
Liberty Superscars are proposing to formally launch in Summer/2010, subject to attracting our first 50 Members. At this time we are only looking for a formal commitment from each Member by completing a Membership Form and no fees or charges will be deducted until the Car Club is fully operational and you make your first booking. As a further incentive, Liberty Supercars are pleased to offer all 50 Founder Members an additional 3 Driving Days, which can be used at your discretion during your first years Membership.
DO I NEED TO BE AN ADVANCED DRIVER & WHAT RESTRICTIONS APPLY?
Members do not need to be Advanced Drivers, as all Members will attend a Performance Driving Day before your first Club Car booking. A formal report by your Instructor will be provided to the Member and Liberty Supercars. Each Member would need to successfully complete the Performance Driving Day, before being given access to a Club Car. To be eligible for Liberty Supercars Membership you would need to be between 30 to 70 years of age and have held a Full UK Driving Licence for a minimum of 5 years. In addition the Member should not currently have more than 6 Points from minor driving offences. If you are outside these terms but would still like to be considered for Membership, please complete the Membership Form and Liberty Supercars would be pleased to assess each application.
HOW DO I JOIN LIBERTY SUPERCARS?
Please complete the Membership Form request page and a form will be sent to your email account. Please then download and complete the Membership Form. Please forward the completed form with the additional information requested, so Liberty Supercars can complete our vetting and forward confirmation of your successful Membership, once we have completed our checks. Liberty Supercars will not deduct any fees or charges until your first booking.
HOW DO I PAY FOR MY MEMBERSHIP & CAN I PAY BY INSTALMENTS?
In addition to the Liberty Supercars vetting, each Membership Form will also be submitted to our Lending Partner. They will assess each application and confirm they will forward the £6,000.00 + VAT Membership Fee on your behalf to Liberty Supercars, once the Member has arranged their first booking. Our Lending Partner will then give the Member the option to pay the Membership Fee in a single payment or pay by equal monthly instalments, which will be offered at a competitive rate to Liberty Supercars Members. This will allow the Member the flexibility to agree the best payment package with our Lending Partner and immediately start enjoying the benefits of joining Liberty Supercars. We confirm Liberty Supercars will not deduct any fees or charges until your first booking.
HOW DO I MAKE A BOOKING & WHAT ARE THE CLUB TIMINGS?
All bookings and booking management can be completed online, in the Members Area. Bookings are available from 30 days in advance and can be amended up to 7 days before the booking date, after which time the booking is fully confirmed and cannot be changed. Bookings can be made from a minimum of 1 Driving Day, to a maximum of 7 consecutive Driving Days per booking per Club Car. The Club Timings for Club Cars collected and returned to the Whitchurch Base are Weekdays Monday to Friday, collection at anytime between 12:00pm to 16:00pm on the day of the booking and on the day of return need to be back between 08:00am to 10:00am, so the Club Cars can be checked and prepared for the following Members. For a 3 Driving Day Weekend booking, the collection times are between 12:00pm to 16:00pm on Friday and return anytime between 08:00am to 10:00am on Monday. Collections and returns are not available on a Saturday or Sunday. Club Cars are always supplied full of fuel and must be returned in the same condition by the Member.
DO LIBERTY SUPERCARS OFFER A DELIVERY AND COLLECTION SERVICE?
All Club Cars are securely stored at our Whitchurch Base and if you are collecting a Club Car from our Base, you are welcome to leave your vehicle within our compound during the booking period. However, Liberty Supercars are also able to offer our Members a Delivery and Collection Service, which can be arranged online at the same time as the Club Car booking. The Standard Delivery charges are calculated per shortest one way road journey, from our Whitchurch Base to the Delivery/Collection address and are £25.00 + VAT for between 0-25 miles, £50.00 + VAT between 26-50 miles and £100.00 + VAT for between 51-100 miles. Any locations outside these distances would be charged at an additional £2.00 + VAT per mile exceeding 100 miles per one way.
WHAT IF I USE ALL MY ALLOCATED DAYS & NEED ADDITIONAL DRIVING DAYS?
As a Member, once you have used your full allocation of 28 Driving Days, you can purchase additional driving days at your discretion under the same general Membership terms. The additional driving days are only available to Liberty Supercar Members and are offered at a concessionary rate of £300 + VAT per day per Club Car, which includes a complimentary 50 miles per day and then additional mileage is available at £2.00 + VAT per mile.
CAN I DRIVE CLUB CARS OUTSIDE THE UK?
Liberty Supercars Membership permits unrestricted use anywhere in the UK. If a Member wishes to drive a Club Car overseas, this can only be permitted by the prior consent of Liberty Supercars and may be subject to an additional underwriting charge. Overseas use would be limited to European Union Countries as formally recognised on 01st/January/2010. A minimum notice period of 14 days is required before any Club Cars can be taken overseas, so Liberty Supercars can make any necessary arrangements and prepare the Club Car for a high mileage journey.
CAN I USE CLUB CARS IN TRACK DAYS OR ROAD RACES?
For the avoidance of doubt, Club Cars cannot be used in any activity including but not limited to Track Days, Road Races or Speed Testing on deregulated Roads. Liberty Supercars reserves the right to suspend any Member that is found to be using the Club Cars outside the 'spirit' of the Club Membership. Liberty Supercars can only maintain a competitive Membership Fee, if all Members treat the Club Cars as if they were their own Cars and drive then responsibly, to avoid unnecessary repairs or maintenance costs to the Club and ensure the Club Cars remain available to deliver all bookings for all Members.
ARE THERE ANY INCENTIVES TO LIBERTY SUPERCARS MEMBERS?
Liberty Supercars is pleased to offer any existing Members the incentive of 1 additional Driving Day for every new successful Member that you introduce to Liberty Supercars. The additional Driving Day will be allocated once the new Member arranges their first booking.
